Midnight Oil brings dramatic, glossy burgundy foliage and a compact, refined habit to the garden. In late spring, its mounds are crowned with soft pink flowers brushed with purple freckles. Unlike traditional bee balms, it thrives in heat and dry soils, resists mildew, and stands strong against deer and rabbits. With its rich foliage color and long-lasting interest, this hardy perennial adds depth and dimension to sunny borders, pollinator plantings, and containers alike.
