Little Volunteer Tulip Poplar is a compact, ornamental tree that offers a neat, military-straight form, perfect for adding a crisp, tailored look to your landscape. Unlike its towering relatives, this dwarf variety stays manageable, never exceeding a modest size and featuring proportionally small leaves. In fall, it dazzles with a vibrant transformation as its bright green leaves turn glowing gold, lighting up the landscape like a candle flame. Originally discovered in Tennessee by Harald Neubauer of Hidden Hollow Nursery in 2001 and introduced in 2008, this fast-growing tree is ideal for anchoring mixed borders, adding structure to courtyards, or enhancing a tidy front lawn.
