This shiny bronze leaved Bugleweed will quickly become one of your favorites. 'Metallica' and other Ajuga are also called Carpet Bugle because of the dense carpet that it forms quickly by its spreading rhizomes. Its aggressive nature makes it a key plant in helping to stabilize an eroding slope, creating a low maintenance groundcover for under a tree or even as a lawn substitute.
